History of ownership/residents and use | Runnymede Park was designed by Wyatt and built by David Jebb. It was sold to George Parry in 1807. In 1832 The Family Topographer lists Neville Reid as occupant. Then in 1842 The Topographical History of Surrey records Colonel Henry Salwey, a ‘much respected and brave officer who served with the Coldstream Guards in the years 1813-1814’, as living at Runnymede Park. The house was up for sale in 1859 although the purchaser is not clear. |
